New subscriber but have been following the store's website for a few years. I am a Juki fan and enjoyed the straightforward technical information and video.
Thanks for the post. I am strictly a home sewist, but a dry cleaning friend of mine had an extra Juki 8700DDL and gave it to me. A revelation - I love it and use it all the time, in addition to my other machines. No comparison on speed, quiet operation, low vibration, ease of use (although mine is a basic machine without auto-threading or thread cutting etc). And although it isn't made to sew heavy materials like leather or vinyl, it has incredible punching power. And a relative bargain (well, mine was free, but I think it retails with an industrial table for under $1000) .
When I bought my Juki overlocker, the dealer told me that it had automatic threading because they used to make overlockers for Babylock, and as patent had just expired, they now included it in their models.
Juki has also made sewing machines for other brands, or at least for Singer. Unlike other Singer models, my Singer XL1 is well over 30 years old and going strong!
Great information. Thank you. Have you written anything about integrated differential feed? I have a few older workhorse model Pfaffs like the 1222. I’m interested in who’s using IDF now too.

I have a Juki TL-2010Q & could not be happier with the machine. Semi-industrial is my Goldilocks machine! “Just right”
