Very well done!!! Especially liked the info on how to prevent lateral movement of needle threader and your straightening tool.

I don't use my needle threaders because I couldn't get them to work. Now I know why. I usually use size 11 needles. I'll try with a larger needle to make sure they work. TY

That was really helpful, Cale! Especially since I've had to have you unbend a hook for me. I do remember that on my old Pfaff, it was never this delicate and "touchy". But I'm really glad to know how to avoid problems on my new machine. Thanks!

Appreciate the detail and pics. Very helpful! Now back to machine and hope I did not bend the wire hook!

there are few things I like more than a well-functioning needle threader, and few things I find more frustrating than when it doesn't work. When the latter happens, the first thing I do is mount my Janome's magnifying lens (I have three different lens strengths that came with an enhanced accessories package) so that I can see exactly what is going on. The magnification makes all the difference in understanding the problem. It's usually a slightly bent needle, but I have also had to bend the tiny hook on the threader back into proper position. Thanks for the thorough breakdown.
