My husband and I are following AI developments and recently had a discussion about whether robots, using generative AI, would be able to sew just about anything. It is easy for me to imagine robots doing repetitive, familiar sewing tasks but what about the job of sewing, say, a fine silk gown with delicate detail? Thoughts?
I was completely taken in by this story and could picture your customer, the machines, the beard clippings. I was three-quarters done when I thought “oh, no, this was written yesterday!”! I was ready to buy some perfume (or at least eau de toilette) for my sewing studio!
