Love reading about the deep history of your family's business. Having grown up in my family business that had shut down only a few years ago, I appreciate how you are able and willing to continue your family legacy. Sew on!

Biography does not always lead to biology, in your case, you're amidst the fabric of helping those who need to stitch pieces. Along the way, your biology is deepened by the sewing machine shop's biography. Go write more! I'll be reading you!

I look forward to reading your news letter and especially about your personal history. My wife and I quilt and give them away to "quilts beyond borders". Keep up the story telling

I love this history! My mom’s father (from Poland) was an upholsterer and my dad’s father (from Russia) was a dressmaker. I guess I caught the bug because I like to sew and like fixing old sewing machines. I’m in Berkeley so I need to come by and visit your shop!

What a lovely tribute to your family business! Isn’t it interesting where each of us land, depending on movements (big and small) and decisions (big and small) made by our ancestors. Engineers, motorcycles, repairmen, Argentina! Looking forward to reading your work!
