Great sale! And the watermelon picture made me happy… but it was the Singer 301, not the watermelons that did it. I just finished hemming some curtains on mine - I forgot what a sweet machine it is!

Too funny, and fun! I kind of wish I'd tried out the Janome M8 before I bought my new Viking Sapphire 930. Although, I do love the Sapphire's auto-lift system. It took me awhile to get used to not reaching back to lift the presser foot.

Because of you, I bought a Janome M8. It sews like a dream and I swear will sew through steel if I let it. Just what I needed. My only complaint is with the feet. Compared to the feet used with my Bernina, they seem a little cheap and I am not thrilled with the walking foot. Other than that, a great machine.

I’ll take one of those watermelons if there’s one left.
