Very interesting as I have been guilty of feeding the thick fabric through with obviously too much force at times. I will desist from now on .thank you .i have a clearer understanding now .
Can I ask a question that has no bearing on the topic at hand? I want to know if I can use a magnetic seam allowance gauge with my Pfaff 7570. I was told that it's not good with computerized machines. Is that true? Thanks!

I didn’t know about the issues with titanium needles. I love a reason to eliminate choices. So many needle choices with sizes alone.
Yikes! I have to go look at my plate now. Fortunately I don’t have any titanium needles. Thank you for the info!
Great newsletter. I really enjoy them and learn so much. Thanks.
Thank you! This is very informative! Have never seen the plate that bad.

Cale,
Once again, you have shed light on something that few of us recognize or understand.
Brilliant point on the titanium needles! If they can cause such a disaster, why are they sold?
What is the purpose of a titanium needle?
Thank you for your outstanding newsletters
Now I want to try a titanium needle! I might be able to use them for sewing through Mylar sequins.
