I always look forward to your articles, they are so well written and informative. Learning how the stitch regulator works made me realise why I was struggling with fmq. I don't have a stitch regulator so will just have to keep practicing.
Awesome article! I got a BSR thrown in for free when I bought my bernina 480 (I guess they really wanted to make the sale) and I’ve never used it. Understanding how it works is making me want to dust it off and give it a try. Thanks!
Love your articles! I learn so much. I enjoyed the u tube video and learned quite a bit. Enough to get the courage to try on my baby lock Adventure which I bought at your shop and love. Thanks for all the great advice and keep them coming.
This is incredibly helpful! It also makes me wonder how something like the Techsew or other darning machines work, as fully free-motion machines: https://www.techsew.com/en/techsew-313-industrial-darning-machine.html I had a great time recently watching denim mending videos using a similar machine by Indigo Proof, who does mending and alterations for high-end raw denim.

Excellent read.
Does the needle work the same with a top loading bobbin?
